Her work has garnered much attention in a number of cancer-related professional journals, including the Annals of Oncology, the Journals of Thoracic Oncology, and several others. She has also traveled extensively throughout the United States, proving information about her research studies at scientific conferences and workshops around the country. Some of her mesothelioma research has also gained international attention.
Kindler is a member of the Executive Committee of the International Mesothelioma Interest Group and serves on the Science Advisory Board of the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation. In addition, she is a member of International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer, the American Association of Cancer Research, and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. A reviewer for a number of oncology-related journals, Kindler also serves on the Editorial Boards of the journals Clinical Advances in Hematology & Oncology and Targeted Therapies, and has spent the last several years as associate editor of the journal Lung Cancer.
