There are four phases that mesothelioma clinical trials go through. In Phase I new mesothelioma drugs or treatments are tested in a small group of participants. Phase II evaluates the same drug or treatment therapy in a larger group. Phase III involves an even larger population of participants and Phase IV takes place post licensing and marketing of a new drug or treatment. The clinical trials listed below have completed.
